Dallas 07

The RWA conference was fabulous as always, and I spent a wonderful four days in Dallas reuniting with old friends and making new ones. I'm not an Avon author, but Avon and Eos have the same parent company, so Avon took me in as their own and made me welcome at their group activities, and there were quite a few including a mass author signing and a free book give away. This is my favorite shot of the week, showing Jocelynn (with two n's) Drake and Rachel Vincent along with Lori Handeland, Kelley Armstrong, and Lynsay Sands.

Jocelynn is grinning because she just got a three book deal, Rachel is smiling because her first Urban Fantasy STRAY is out. I don't know why the rest of us are smiling. The night was pretty much a blur. ;-)

I seemed to hang out a lot with Lynsay Sands this year, which was very cool. I'd been wanting to meet her since doing the DATES FROM HELL anthology through Avon. If you're looking for signed books, drop in and check because all eight or so of us signed stock.
